Attached and Detached Expansion Modules are Available,
Expand the Tester to 1024 Test Points

Two forms of expansion module are available, each offering slightly different advantages:

Attached Expansion Modules (AEX) Permanently attaches to the bottom of the base unit or to another expansion module. Same bench footprint as the base unit by itself (9x12"). Adds 128 test points per module. Perfect in applications where you do not require the additional board fixtures. May be cascaded up to 1024 test points. Refer to Catalog Item 813 (M2) or 823 (M3)

Side-by-Side Expansion Modules (SBS) A free-standing unit that links to the base unit with a cable. Can be separated from the base by as much as 6 feet (M3) or 20 feet (M2) Adds 128 test points per module Provides two additional connector board fixtures. May be cascaded up to 1024 test points. Refer to Catalog Item 812 (M2) or 822 (M3)

Both forms of expansion module are electrically and functionally equivalent. Control the number of active test points with switches on each module to optimize measurement speed, or turn off all modules and use base in the usual manner with our standard CB connector boards for two-ended cables.
