Introduction

Each clip describes one basic function of CableEye's software using a live full-size video screen image and includes narration, active mouse highlighting, labeled call-outs, and inserted still images. You may view the clips in any order, although you should watch them sequentially to get the greatest benefit. Check back for new clips periodically; we have an ongoing plan to add additional topics.

Hardware Setup

For these demonstrations, we run the software on a Dell Dimension 4600 Pentium 4 computer with Windows XP. You would obtain largely the same results on older hardware and earlier operating systems. We limit the active display area to 880 x 540 pixels for efficient image transmission through the internet. In practice, however, CableEye's control screen can be enlarged to the full size of your monitor, if desired.
